Visit artist Amanda Lynne in the studio of the David Rockefeller Creative Arts Center (DR Center), located on The Pocantico Center campus in Tarrytown, NY.
Amanda is the DR Center's visual artist-in-residence for November and December 2023, through a partnership with the Yonkers based Blue Door Art Center, awardees of the Pocantico Center's 2023 Community Arts Residency.
Amanda Lynnne's paintings and mixed media pieces are a celebration of the beauty of the natural world, exploring the color, form, and pattern that natural objects have to offer. Amanda's paintings are created on components of upcycled discarded wooden furniture; her mixed media pieces are created with hand marbled paper, linoleum prints, and upcycled hand painted frames.
Visitors will also be able to visit the DR Center gallery, currently showing Portraits of Process.
All visitors must reserve a free timed-entry ticket prior to visiting.
